Schwartz to Receive Summer GRA

 

Ashlyn Schwartz, current student in the Exercise Physiology master’s program, has been selected to receive a 2016 Summer Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA). Schwartz will receive a stipend of $3,600 to support the research of KRSS faculty member Dawn Coe. The project she will be assisting Coe with this summer is titled Playground and Garden Physical Activity Levels and Behaviors in Young Children.

The GRAs are funded by the Scholarly and Research Incentive Funds (SARIF). The Office of Research & Engagement (ORE) received 40 requests for Summer Graduate Research Assistantships and only 25 were funded.
