The Graduate School is now requiring submission of an application for second deadline submission of theses and dissertations. This application will clarify the steps and deadlines for students wishing to use the second deadline option and avoid paying registration fees for the next semester.
The form is available on the Graduate School web page under the Forms link at http://gradschool.utk.edu/forms/Second%20Deadline%20Graduation%20Application.pdf .
When a student has missed the regular deadlines for graduation in a term, second deadline submissions allow thesis and dissertation students to graduate in the next semester without having to register for 500 or 600.
