Nominate a professor for excellence in teaching (deadline March 3)

 

Do you know a (full-time) faculty member in our department who is an excellent teacher?

Please consider submitting a nomination! It won’t take long.

Every other year, our department presents the George F. Brady Teaching Award. This year’s nominations are due March 3.

Description

“to recognize excellence in teaching by a full-time faculty member in the Department of of Kinesiology, Recreation and Sport Studies (even year) the Department of Public Health (odd year).”

Eligibility

Full-time faculty from the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation and Sport Studies (even year) the Department of Public Health (odd year).

Nomination Process (Deadline March 3)

Students and faculty from each Department are invited and encouraged to submit nominations.  The nomination should include a brief statement of supportive rationale by the person making the nomination. If you are a student and wish to make a nomination please give your nomination statement to Lynnetta Holbrook (office 324) or Sarah Bicknell (office 323). 

Selection Process

Selection of the winner shall be made by the department honors (Awards) committee.

Award

Name inscribed on permanent plaque and individual plaque or other suitable item of recognition. Monetary award is possible through departmental endowments.
