Partners in Sports will be hosting the first Women’s Roundtable of the spring semester! The purpose of Women’s Roundtable is to bring successful women in the sports industry to our students to discuss the unique characteristics of being a female in this industry. Past speakers have been Mendy McMurtry of Under Armour, Joan Cronan former Women’s Athletic Director at UT, along with many more.
We are excited to announce that this Tuesday, February 25th at 6:30 p.m. we will be hosting Mrs. Georgia Gray Wilson. Mrs. Wilson did her undergrad at he University of North Alabama on a full scholarship for leadership and earned her Masters degree from our program. She interned in Lady Vol marketing and development. Some other past experiences include working with Arena Football and in the SEC Office with Host Communications. She has been with the Sponsorships and Event Marketing team at Chick-fil-A’s corporate headquarters for the last 9 years. Her main responsibility has been the Chick-fil-A Bowl. Some other events she’s been involved with include College Gameday, Big XII Championships, ACC Championships and many more.
We hope you will join us in spending time with Mrs. Wilson next week(Tuesday, February 25th) from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the HPER building (room TBA). There will be light snacks and drinks provided.
