Brief Description of Duties
1) Teach the undergraduate/graduate course in Sport and Exercise Psychology; 2) teach undergraduate courses in other Sport Studies-related areas; 3) maintain an active program of scholarship; and 4) provide college service.
Required Qualifications
1) An earned doctoral degree in Kinesiology, Sport and Exercise Psychology, or another Sport Studies-related field (ABD candidates will be considered, but must earn their doctoral degree within 6 months of hire); 2) the ability to teach and develop courses in Sport and Exercise Psychology; 3) the ability to teach and develop courses in other Sport Studies-related areas; 4) the ability to teach a diverse student body; 5) the ability to develop and maintain an active research agenda in Sport and Exercise Psychology; 6) the ability to oversee undergraduate research in Sport and Exercise Psychology; and 7) the ability to provide college service.
Preferred Qualifications
1) Previous college level teaching experience in Sport and Exercise Psychology and other Sport Studies-related areas; 2) previous record of publications; 3) teaching and/or research interest in a broad range of Sport Studies fields; and 4) previous record of college service.
