Graduate Teaching Certification Program

The Tennessee Teaching and Learning Center (TennTLC) is proud to announce that it is accepting applications for the Spring cohort of its Graduate Teaching Certification (GTC) Program.  The program is designed to foster confidence and excellence in teaching and learning.  This 15-18 month, noncredit program will allow for the deep exploration of current theories and practices and application in the participant’s own classroom.

It is open to anyone who is or would be eligible to be a teaching associate at UT.  Thus, even if you serve as a GRA but would be eligible to be an instructor on this campus, you may apply.

Applications will be accepted through Monday, November 24, 2014 at 5:00pm. To apply, please complete the application form and the faculty recommendation letter found on our website.  Complete the application online and deliver the recommendation form to Dr. Ferlin McGaskey at 618 Greve Hall.  You will be notified of a decision by December 1, 2014.

Please forward this email to anyone who you believe might benefit from this information or this program.  For additional information, please contact Ferlin McGaskey, Ph.D. at fmcgaske@utk.edu.

Cheers,

Ferlin G. McGaskey, Ph.D
