Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week

Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week is April 6-11. Throughout the week, there will be professional development opportunities, social activities, and special events celebrating the contributions made by graduate and professional students to UT and the community.

Among the week’s events:

Monday, April 6

8:00 a.m.: Kickoff Breakfast in the BCC Multipurpose Room. Sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Diversity. Proclamations declaring the week as Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week for the city of Knoxville and Knox County and will be read by Jackie Clay, program manager for the city of Knoxville. This is an invitation-only event.

4:30 p.m.: Graduate School Fellowship Reception at McClung Museum. This is an invitation-only event

6:30 p.m.: Graduate Student Senate Town Hall Meeting at the Baker Center.

Tuesday, April 7

10:00 a.m.: IRB Workshop in the International House Community Room.

5:30 p.m.: Graduate Student Senate Travel Awards Information Session in University Center Room 221.

Wednesday, April 8

All day: Love Your Graduate and Professional Student Day, sponsored by the Division of Student Life.

1:00 p.m.: International Coffeehouse, sponsored by the I-House Mary Greer Room Hodges Library

7:00 p.m.: Graduate Student Senate Social, Cool Beans, 1817 Lake Avenue.

Thursday, April 9
