Health Sciences Research Survey

A student at Auburn University is looking for PhD student participants for a brief survey. His recruiting email and the link to the survey are below:

Hello!

My name is Taylor Buchanan and I am a Masters student in the Department of Kinesiology at Auburn University. You are invited to participate in an anonymous online survey for the Motor Learning Laboratory. The goal of this survey is to better understand how researchers make statistical decisions/interpret statistical analyses in the health and exercise sciences. Your participation would help our research tremendously!

You have been asked to participate because you are a doctoral student or faculty member who is at least 19 years of age. The survey should take at most 15 minutes, asking a series of scenario questions and then some demographic questions. All data are anonymous, no sensitive/identifying information will be collected, and your participation can be discontinued at any time. We invite you to participate in this research study and ask that you read the information letter (on the first page of the survey) prior to your participation.

If you have ever conducted a statistical analysis, you are basically qualified to take this short survey! If you collect, analyze, and/or report data as part of a research group, we would be excited to hear from you. You only need to have a general understanding of what a t-test is in order to answer the scenario questions. Please feel free to forward this survey to anyone you know within the realm of health and exercise science.
