PhD Student Leslie Larsen Receives NCAA Grant

Congratulations to Leslie Larsen, Graduate Teaching Associate in the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sports Studies for being chosen as one of five graduate students submitting research proposals selected by the NCAA Research Committee.  These recipients are part of the NCAA Graduate Student Research Grant Program, now in it’s tenth year, which is aimed at stimulating research on college sports by providing financial support.  Leslie’s topic is: “More than Recruiters: The Experiences of African American Female Assistant Coaches in NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball.”
