Exercise Science Faculty Position Opportunity

Brevard College has an opening in Exercise Science for a tenure-track faculty position beginning Fall 2016. We would greatly appreciate it if you would post this announcement (attached) and forward this email to any graduates who might be interested in applying.  Brevard College is a small liberal arts college located in western North Carolina.

Brevard College seeks a dynamic teacher to fill a tenure-track, nine-month faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science /Kinesiology, beginning fall 2016.

Successful candidates must be interested in teaching exercise science/kinesiology and related courses at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum. A terminal degree such as a PhD or EdD from an accredited institution is advantageous, but an MS may be acceptable. Teaching responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, exercise physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, and introductory exercise science. In addition, development of special topics in an area of expertise will be expected to round out the teaching load.

Brevard College, founded in 1853, is a residential liberal arts college. Situated in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Brevard College is located 33 miles southwest of Asheville, North Carolina.
