Today (July 8) is the deadline for scheduling the dissertation defense for doctoral candidates seeking to graduate in summer 2016. Doctoral candidates seeking to graduate in summer 2016 need to schedule their defense one week before the date of their defense. If they’re defending on the last day to defend a thesis or dissertation (July 15), they need to have turned in their schedule of defense form by today (July 8) to be in compliance with that one week deadline.
