Responsible Conduct of Research: “Data Management Plans and Best Practices”

The Graduate School, the UT Libraries, and the Office of Research and Engagement would like to remind all that the Responsible Conduct of Research Series continues in fall 2016 with a session on “Data Management Plans and Best Practices”. Interested participants can attend either of two sessions: September 28 noon-1 p.m. and September 29 5 p.m-6 p.m. The objective of this series is to provide awareness and application of professional norms and ethical principles in the performance of all activities related to scientific research, including mechanisms to promote honesty, accuracy, efficiency and objectivity in research. Graduate students are encouraged to attend, as responsible conduct of research is an essential component of research training. Starting this year, participants can earn a Responsible Conduct of Research Education Participation Certificate (good for CV’s) by attending the series. Also, for registered participants, pizza will be served during the sessions. All sessions will be held in A004 of Blount Hall.
