New Course Offering Fall 2017: PUBH 580/680 Special Topics: Grant Writing for Public Health and Health Care
Who? This class is an introduction to grant writing for students with little or no experience.
What? You will plan and develop a complete grant application related to a public health or health care topic of your choice. You will apply your theoretical knowledge as well as program planning and evaluation skills. You will learn how:
- – To find grant funding
- – To develop a grant application
- – To write a persuasive narrative
- – To prepare a budget
- – To review and score applications
Why? You will develop a highly marketable skill and robust writing sample.
