The Student Counseling Center offers an LGBTQ Group facilitated by Sarah Schwarz (Psychology Intern) and Bonnie M. Benson-Palmgren, Ph.D. The group combines support with interpersonal goals (e.g., speak up even when feeling anxious, be willing to share feelings, try to resist giving advice and respond with empathy instead). Undergrads and grad students are equally welcome.
