Graduate Hooding Ceremony

Vincent Price, who graduates this spring with his PhD in Teacher Education, will be our featured student speaker at the Spring 2018 Graduate Hooding Ceremony. We hope faculty, staff and students will all join us at the ceremony, which will take place on May 10 at 7:00 p.m. in Thompson Boling Arena. If you are participating as a graduate or a doctoral hooder, please check out the Graduate Hooding Ceremony pages for information about when you need to be at the arena (6:00 p.m.) and where.

If you are a faculty member that would like to be part of the procession, we will have a space for you to gather near the Master’s Check-In (be sure to wear your regalia). We hope you’ll come out to support your graduating students. Because of parking/traffic around the event, we recommend you be there by 6:00 p.m., as well.

Also, help us remind everyone that Thompson-Boling Arena requires that everyone comply with the clear bag policy. If you’re not sure what that is, please review Security at the Ceremony.

If you have any questions about the Graduate Hooding Ceremony, please feel free to contact Catherine Cox (cathcox@utk.edu) or Sean Hendricks (shendrick@utk.edu). Hope to see you all there!
