GTAs and GRAs: Code of Conduct Training

The UT Code of Conduct describes the principles that define the University’s expectations on behavior and what to do if you have a question or suspect misconduct. To ensure everyone is aware of their responsibilities and the resources available, all Regular UTK employees (faculty, staff) and UTK GAs/GTAs/GRAs must complete this training by April 8, 2019.

Course Title: Code of Conduct
Description: This course discusses the importance of the Code of Conduct’s eight basic principles, a model for ethical decision making, and the four key elements of responsible reporting. The course ensures employees understand the Code, while also serving the University through good faith reporting of any potential concerns.

Duration: 15 minutes
HR 128 Training Credits: .5

To access Code of Conduct Training: Go to https://kate.tennessee.edu/, choose the UT employee login option and log in with your NetID and password. Launch the Code of Conduct training from your transcript located on the homepage or by navigating to “Learning” then “View Your Transcript” in the tool bar.

This training meets the criteria for HR 128 Credits. HR 128 is the Human Resources Policy that strongly encourages employees or staff at the University of Tennessee to complete a minimum of 32 hours of job- and career-related education per calendar year. While logged into K@TE, you can browse for other available training opportunities or submit eligible external education completions to earn additional credits.
