Lavender Graduation is an annual commencement ceremony honoring our graduating LGBTQ+ students. The ceremony is open to everyone that supports the LGBTQIAA+ community at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and all LGBTQIA+ and ally students graduating in 2019 (May and December) are welcome to participate in the graduation ceremony. All registered participants will receive an individualized certificate, a Lavender stole, and a rainbow tassel for graduation. Participants do not need to wear their formal robes to our event, and while our staff will be business casual, we encourage everyone to dress to their own comfort level. We love you as you are!
All members of the campus community that support our LGBTQ+ students are welcome to attend.
