UT Libraries welcomes graduate students to the Graduate Student Commons on the 1st floor of Hodges Library. This is a dedicated space for grad students to study, write, and interact. The Grad Commons features a combination of quiet and group spaces including a conference room, three small meeting rooms, and a variety of other study and social spaces. The libraries are still waiting for new furniture and technology for the space, but they want to open the space for graduate students to use as they wrap up the semester.
There will be a grand opening in the fall, but all graduate students have been loaded into the system, so that their VolCard can be used to get access during this soft launch of the space. So, this is an opportunity to try out this resource.
