Our Center for the Study of Sport and Religion (CSSR), in collaboration with the Department of Religious Studies, is preparing for its annual Fall Lecture which will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm, Student Union Auditorium. We are happy to announce that Dr. Jeff Scholes, associate professor, Department of Philosophy/director of the Center for Religious Diversity and Public Life, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs will be our lecturer. Jeff is one of the nation’s foremost authorities in the area of religion and sports, but is also a premier ethicist and authority on the morality of public expenditures on sport enterprises (see https://www.uccs.edu/philosophy/staff/scholes).
