Ashley Hamilton

Assistant Director of Student Support

Biography

Prior to coming to the University of Tennessee, Ashley served as a clinical specialist in recreational therapy at an inpatient physical rehabilitation facility in Knoxville. In August of 2018, Ashley joined the Volunteer family and the KRSS department as an adjunct instructor in the Therapeutic Recreation program. Ashley has held a few positions in KRSS since 2018 and now serves as the Assistant Director of Student Support, which means that Ashley wears many hats! Those hats include overseeing all the field experiences in the department, teaching an undergraduate course in the therapeutic recreation program, and serving as an upper-level academic advisor. When Ashley is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her sweet husband, her two delightful and wild boys, and her dear friends. Some of her favorite things to do with her family and friends are going camping, eating a good meal, playing board games, and taking long walks.
