Biography
Carrie currently serves as a lecturer in the Recreation & Sport Management program. From 2013 to 2024, she served in a variety of roles in advising and student support in the KRSS Department. During that time, she also taught multiple RSM courses, was responsible for overseeing the Sport Management field experiences, taught First Year Studies and Physical Education Activity courses, and advised several student organizations. Prior to working in the KRSS Department, Carrie worked in the field of campus recreation as the Sport Club Coordinator at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the University of California, Davis. She was also the director of the Southeast Collegiate Soccer Alliance for a few years during that time. Outside of work, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, watching college sports and her kids’ sports, traveling, and being outdoors.
