Postdoctoral Research Associate
Biography
Dr. Kim is a member of the International Sociology of Sport Association (ISSA) and the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport (NASSS). She has published in the International Review for the Sociology of Sport and Sport in Society. Prior to her position at UTK she has been a postdoctoral researcher in Global Leaders in Sport Science at Seoul National University BK21 (Brain Korea 21) Four project. This year, Dr. Kim has participated in the 2023 Fall cohort of the Community Engagement Academy at UTK and is working with a research group and local community-based youth sports club on sexual abuse prevention. She competed as a swimmer in university and retired as a curling athlete in 2022.
