RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research focus is on examining program implementation and outcomes of participation in therapeutic recreation and related areas, specifically in an outdoor setting. While many outcomes of recreation participation have been identified, she hopes to provide connections between program curriculum and outcomes. Additionally, she has research interests in the military community, investigating resiliency in military youth and identifying factors impacting female veteran community reintegration. Griffiths hopes her work on program implementation can be used to assist recreation organizations in understanding the relationship between program design and delivery and achieving desired participant outcomes.
