Deadline – April 27, 2012, 5:00 p.m.
All graduate students requesting graduation for Summer 2012 must meet this deadline. Students must apply to graduate before the Graduate School can conduct the degree audit. No degree audit or degree award is processed without an application for graduation.
****Application for Graduation on MyUTK (electronic)****
Please note that students should choose the current term (currently Spring 2012) for the “Curriculum Term Selection.” Entering this term is the first response required on the MyUTK graduation application. It is NOT the same as the term of graduation – it is the current term for the curriculum profile.
If students applied to graduate in a previous term, they must submit a NEW graduation application in MyUTK for Summer 2012.
****Doctoral Committee Appointment Form (paper form)**** from http://gradschool.utk.edu/gradforms.shtml
All signatures must be original on this paper form from the faculty members and department head. Forms will not be accepted without department head signature.
****Admission to Candidacy (paper form)**** from http://gradschool.utk.edu/gradforms.shtml
Please note: If an admission to candidacy application was submitted prior to the graduation application, no new form is needed. Once admitted to candidacy for the degree program, the documentation is available in the electronic graduate student folder in NOLIJ. Graduation specialists contact the student by email when the admission to candidacy application is approved.
