I just received this information from the Graduate School:
“Effective beginning Fall 2012, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville has changed the policy on charges for graduate level graduation applications. The graduation application fee is non-refundable and will be charged for each term in which an application for graduation is submitted for the degree. If a graduation application is cancelled because a student will not graduate in a term, then the student must apply for graduation in a new term and pay the fee again. This change in policy applies only to the following graduate degrees:
Doctoral Degrees – $75.00
Specialist in Education Degrees – $45.00
Master’s Degrees – $30.00
