Dear Graduating Students (Fall 2013),
All Admission to Candidacy Applications that had been submitted to the Director of Graduate Studies by the deadline on Friday have been signed (as long as there were no missing pre-requisites).
Please pick up the form from the front desk in our office. Ask the receptionist or a member of the administrative staff to locate it for you. It will be at the front desk in a shelf called “Admission to Candidacy” and a folder called “outgoing.”
It is the student’s responsibility to pick up the form and take it to the Graduate School by the posted deadline.
If you missed the departmental deadline on Friday, you will have to get the required signatures asap. We will do our best to process it in time, but there are no guarantees. Note that a key staff member is currently out sick, which will further delay the process. Do not expect the form to be signed and processed in 24 hours.
