If you are an incoming student, make sure to have read the handbook cover-to-cover before your departmental orientation on Friday. Take notes and ask questions. It might be your most important reading assignment this year. The handbook spells out what you need to do to graduate.
Listen to the advice of past students who thought they knew what to do and ended up having to pay for an extra semester out of their own pocket: Read the handbook! Read it during your first week at UT, so you can ask questions. Don’t delay!
