Job Description:
Marietta College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in sports management.

The Department of Business & Economics offers Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Public Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, International Business, Land & Energy Management, Marketing and Sports Management.

Teaching responsibilities: undergraduate courses including introductory sport management, sport law, facilities and events, sport marketing, with an opportunity to teach special topics courses in areas of interest and expertise.

Duties include developing and maintaining the curriculum, advising students, developing and coordinating internships in the sport management area, serving on committees, and engaging in professional development.

Requirements:
Education requirement:  Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Sport Management preferred; or Masters of Sport Management (or equivalent Master’s Degree) plus 3 years relevant work experience.

Teaching experience strongly preferred.
