The Office of Research and Engagement is hosting multiple workshops on managing research data over the next few weeks. As part of the Responsible Conduct of Research Lunch-and-Learn Series, the “Data Management Plans and Best Practices” workshop is designed to provide awareness and application of professional norms and ethical principles in the performance of all activities related to scientific research, including mechanisms to promote honesty, accuracy, efficiency and objectivity in research. There are two sessions, on September 28 (Noon–1:00 p.m.) and September 29 (5:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.).
On October 4, Chris Eaker will present on “Writing the Data Management Plan,” as part 1 of a two-part series. The second part will take place on October 11.
