Building University-Community Partnerships: More Than One and Done

The Office of Community Engagement and Outreach has an exciting conference planned on Monday, October 8, 2018 in the Howard Baker Center beginning at 8:30 a.m. The theme is Building University-Community Partnerships: More Than One and Done. This conference will convene university faculty, staff, and community leaders to explore many topics with a focus on building and sustaining relationships across the community. Through presentations, interactive sessions, and a panel discussion participants will gain new insights into how public research universities can leverage interdisciplinary strategies to address complex social and economic challenges facing our communities. Goals include establishing collaborations from across the university, community, and region to help solve complex problems; building capacity with campus partners and stakeholders; and highlighting resources to integrate engagement and outreach into academic and research programs.
