The Writing Center is offering a workshop for graduate students who are in the process of writing their thesis or dissertation, to help them get their work off to a productive start this semester. The workshop will provide time for planning and drafting and will offer short presentations about writing, researching, formatting, de-stressing–and more! Staff from the Writing Center, UT Libraries, Student Counseling Center, and Graduate School will be present to provide information and one-to-one assistance. Lunch, coffee, and snacks will be provided.
Date: Thursday, August 22, 2019, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Location: The Writing Center, HSS 212

Applicants will receive an email on August 20 to indicate whether there is an available spot for them. Space is limited to 20 participants.
