Third Annual AEE Heartland Region Student Summit, April 3-5, 2014

The Student Summit is a professional development and networking opportunity for students and emerging professionals (recent grads) interested in outdoor recreation and education. The event traditionally draws close to 150 students from over 15 universities and outdoor programs from 5 states. It is a great opportunity for entry level practitioners to meet other like-minded folks while attending workshops relevant to their line of work.

Event Information

This year’s conference will take place at the Touch of Nature Environmental Center Thursday, April 3rd through Saturday, April 5th, 2014.

Registration for the 3rd Annual AEE Heartland Region Student Summit is now LIVE.  The Early Bird Rate of $90.00 is available until March 15th, and will save students $20.00 off the regular rate of $110.00.  This all-inclusive registration fee covers meals, lodging, conference attendance and entertainment.

 Student-Presented Workshops

We believe that one of the key components of this experience is our lineup of student-presented workshops.  We invite you to encourage some of the promising students in your program to submit a workshop proposal for the event.  Students’ whose workshops are accepted for presentation at the Student Summit will enjoy a discounted presenter rate of $65.00 for the conference.
