The Graduate Student Senate is having a session on 11/14 at Hodges Library 253 from 5:30-7:00pm about the impact of the proposed Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on graduate students.
Join GSS as we write postcards to state officials opposing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act!
This Tax Proposal would tax ALL graduate student waivers. Over 2000 UT Graduate Students who receive assistantships (up to $15,000 in benefits) would have to pay taxes on tuition waivers!
